The requirements for the Computational Linguistics Minor are 6 courses altogether:

- LING 437 – Introduction to Computational Linguistics
OR CSC 237 – Introduction to Computational Linguistics
2. At least one of the following (1 course):
- MTH 111 – Introduction to Probability and Statistics with Integrated Algebra Review
- MTH 113 – Introduction to Probability and Statistics
- MTH 123 – College Algebra and Trigonometry
3. At least one of the following (1 course):
- LING 303 – Phonology I
- LING 304 – Syntax I
- LING 350 – The Structure of Words
