Here are the requirements for the SLP Minor. You can think of the requirements as falling into two groups:
1. Pre-Minor Required Courses (12 credits)
- LING 301 Introduction to Linguistics (4 credits)
- LING 302 Phonetics (4 credits)
- BIO 106 & BIO 107 Principles of Biology + Lab (4 credits)
2. Required Courses (12 credits)
- LING 402 Speech Science (4 credits)
- LING 420 Anatomy & Physiology for Speech Science (4 credits)
- LING 430 Phonetic and Phonological Disorders (4 credits)
